We are a neighbourhood bakery owned by Aura (yes, that is her given name). We opened the door on Frederick st in December of 2018. This is the third Bakery for Aura. The concept is simple. Delicious fresh baked goods made daily from scratch. The items we bake are an eclectic mix of classic favourites like brownies, muffins, scones, squares and cupcakes to other more intriguing items like kouignamann, brioche, babkas, cinnamon buns and basque cheesecakes, We are constantly having fun, testing new recipes and incorporating them into our product offerings. Aura identifies as not only as a baker, but also as a food entrepreneur and curator She empowers and employs passionate people to have fun and create in the space. She is grateful to her staff who come to work each day to make this little bakery work. In addition to the fresh baked goods, Aura has curated a growing selection of locally hand crafted food items and gifts that compliment the bakery’s concept and mission.
